History of our Creatures in Ancient Egypt

Ammit or Ammut:

Neither God nor Goddess but a Demon, Ammut was visualised as part hippopotamus, part Lioness and part Crocodile.  She was the Devourer of the Dead and often shown near the scales of Justice or Maat upon which the hearts of the deceased were weighed opposite the Feather of Truth.  Her job was to devour the hearts of the wicked, those who were judged as unfit to enter the afterlife.

In Age of Pyramids, you can obtain Ammut solely through the Revive Pyramid, by using Tokens that are generated when you sacrifice your Creatures and send them down the River.

Bes:

Bes is a dwarf God and like dwarf gods in many cultures, is a symbol of good luck, a guardian against the forces of darkness.  He was a guardian God of Childbirth, a god of entertainment and prosperity.

Bes is an Underground Creature in Age of Pyramids.  You have to be at Level 45 to be able to purchase his Habitat.  He requires the highest level of any option in Age of Pyramids.

Hapi:

Hapi is the God of the Inundation of the sacred river Nile.  He is depicted with breasts and a round belly, wearing a headdress made from aquatic plants.  It was believed that he made his home in an ancient cave and his cult centre was at Aswan.

Nut Skygoddess is one of the oldest and most important of the deities.  She is the Sky who as Mother Goddess gave birth to Isis, Osiris, Seth, and Nephthys.  She swallows the setting or dying sun every evening and gives birth to him again each morning.  Each of her limbs represents one of the cardinal points.

Nut Skygoddess can be obtained as a special promotional purchase only in the first 24 hours when you play Age of Pyramids.  This is unfortunate in a way as some players are unaware of the fact that they never again will have the opportunity to obtain her!  Perhaps Frismos will relent as some point.
